Year 2014 in Review

I've gathered together a bunch of pictures that mark somewhat eventful things from the past year... So here's last year in a (hopefully not too long!) blog post of pictures! I know I'm late... this should have been done almost a month ago! :/ my bad!

So... we started the year of well (not!) by starting the dump bin across the road on fire! That was exciting! Only the Evans' would...

...
This adorable couple got married! Sweet <3

...
'twas a chili Winter for sure!

For some reason I have like NO pictures in February!!!!

...
Snapped these pics while out gardening one day
These boys... lil' cuties! :)
Supposedly we're sisters but... whatever!

...
These have got to be some of my favorite pictures of the brother EVER!

...
We started rescuing minnows from the construction across the road with our friend, Phil... that was fun and we saved ALOT of fish and lil' froggies :D

...
We got chickens!!!

...
And probably my favorite part of this year... raising this adorable little crew! Started with 5 and ended with 2.5 so didn't totally succeed :(

Reuben... funny lil' dude :)

Zach... who I quickly found out was a Zoey! <3

And this guy!!! Couldn't have done it without ya Flips! Thank ya ;)

...
Then I said good-bye to my babies and spent a week in the North!

It is so amazingly beautiful up there!

We stopped at a trading-post up there and my Dad liked this sign. lol.

The wild life up there is AMAZING!

...even if it is in your backyard!

...
In July we got our second batch of chicks

They're so cute <3

...
Got a new doo! Jk... it's a wig ;) Gotta love Mimz' face there huh?

This lil' missy... silly gal ;)

The Little Man.... he's so sweet <3

...
Oh yeah, and a mama kill deer made her nest in our drive way! It was soooo neat checking every day to see if the eggs hatched yet and then getting to watch them grow up... was amazing! Like how ADORABLE is this lil' one?

...
Saw waaaay too many of these in me last year :( Don't know why I take pictures of them all the time... for some reason they fascinate me! Really, I think they're so cool! I love to watch the nurse putting them in! lol.

...
This is one of the ponds at the property we fell in love with... gorgeous!
"Homz, aren't you gonna take my picture?" lol

...
Live trapped ten of theses cuties! They were a little too interested in our chickens so we had to get 'em outa here! Made me miss my babies <3

...
In August me and the Littles spent a week in Thunder Bay with my aunt and Larry.
Tired after the long plane-ride... Quite the hick crew huh?

We did a lot of fun stuff, but the most fun was hiking the mountains along Lake Superior!

And wild raspberries are the BEST!

...
We slaughtered chickens for the first time this year too! Was a sad day :(

...
Our hens started laying!

Funny how many different sizes of eggs you get at first!

...
Little lumber jacks!

...
And Christmas!

The little baker-brother ;) haha

Weeeeellll, I think that's about it (finally)!
So ta-ta for now!

We were foolin' around the other day trying to get
some good pictures for a Christmas card so figured
I'd share them! It was FREEZING cold out that day
so that explains the misserable looksin a few of the
shots! And the lighting is a little off,I know... that's
just due to my not-knowing-what-im-doing-ness! ;) And
because it's so bright out, my hair is crazy red... so
I look the like Fed-Ex kid, I know!
